my name is Jennifer Taylor
I am a designer, educator, and entrepreneur and I am passionate about empowering others to actualize their full potential and solve problems creatively with graphic art. I grew up moving all around the world as the daughter of an active duty Army officer and moved from Denver, CO to Clarksville, TN in 2020 with my husband and two children. I earned my BA in Visual Communication and my BA in International Studies from UT Martin in 2011, and later earned my MBA from Bethel University in 2015. Since then I have lead branding, marketing, and advertising for high growth software and technology companies in Nashville and Denver. I also teach communications at UT Martin and guest lecture at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am honored to share what I have learned with RHS students and guide Freshmen and Sophomores in establishing a solid design foundation!
my name is Hannah Brooks
I was born and raised in Clarksville, TN and I love my hometown! I graduated from Austin Peay State University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication and Graphic Design. After gaining my degree, I worked as a graphic designer for United Methodist Publishing House and Cokesbury Bookstore in Nashville, TN. I also worked for MediaWorks in Downtown Clarksville. Both positions were very different, but helped me to grow tremendously as a designer. I love teaching the Juniors & Seniors in our program! During this phase of their design career they are building their portfolio, interacting with real design clients, and seeking internships. Seeing the work of our Academy students brings me so much happiness every day. I love to see them grow into their own design style and the moment they find the same love for design that I have found.
